Scope of works
We are currently working in partnership with an investment and property management group to deliver a coordinated blinds package across a multi-site build-to-rent portfolio on behalf of a major client. The programme spans multiple live developments, with phased delivery aligned to construction timelines and ongoing site handovers.
Our scope includes the supply and installation of roller blinds throughout living spaces, blackout roller blinds for bedrooms, curtain poles for patio and glazed door areas, and skylight blinds where required. These products are installed across the majority of plots, forming part of a consistent specification applied across the portfolio.
We were involved at the early stages of the scheme, supporting the development of the original product specification. This has since been standardised and is now rolled out consistently across all sites, ensuring a uniform finish, reliable performance, and a streamlined procurement and installation process.

Rollout
Delivery is managed on a phased, block-by-block basis in line with handovers from the principal developers. Typically, we carry out detailed surveys on initial blocks, followed by prompt installation, while concurrently progressing surveys for subsequent phases. This approach allows us to maintain continuity across multiple sites while responding flexibly to changing build programmes.
We work closely with site managers to coordinate access, particularly where survey work is required ahead of formal handover, while maintaining regular communication with the property management team to ensure alignment across all locations. With multiple developments progressing simultaneously, careful planning and resource management are essential—particularly where installation programmes must align with tight completion deadlines and tenant readiness requirements.
Our role is critical in ensuring properties are fully prepared for occupation, as blinds installation forms part of the final completion stage prior to tenant move-in. By maintaining consistent quality, reliable delivery, and a flexible, responsive approach, we support the smooth handover of units across the portfolio.
