Scope of works
We have worked in partnership with a leading facilities management provider over the past eight years, delivering a consistent programme of specialist blind and tracking installations within a large NHS healthcare setting. Supporting both reactive maintenance works and planned refurbishment projects, our role has been to provide reliable, compliant solutions across a wide range of environments.

The scope of works has primarily involved the supply and installation of anti-ligature curtain and cubicle tracking systems, alongside anti-ligature vertical blinds. Installations have been carried out across numerous rooms and wards over multiple phases, adapting to the evolving requirements of the site and its operational needs.
The tracking systems have included both ceiling and wall-mounted configurations, with ceiling-mounted systems often incorporating suspended drop rods where required. All systems utilise specialist anti-ligature designs, including magnetic fixing devices engineered to reduce risk while maintaining durability and day-to-day functionality. Complementing this, vertical blinds have been supplied using PVC wipe-clean fabrics, supporting both hygiene and ease of maintenance in demanding healthcare environments.
All fabrics specified are flame-retardant and selected in line with the performance and safety requirements expected within healthcare settings. Every installation is carried out in accordance with relevant fire safety standards and site-specific health & safety procedures, ensuring full compliance throughout.
Outcome
As an ongoing contractor, we have developed a strong working relationship with both the facilities management team and on-site personnel. Works are often delivered in live environments, requiring careful coordination to minimise disruption to staff and service users, while maintaining a safe and controlled working approach at all times.
Our continued involvement across multiple projects over an extended period reflects our ability to deliver consistent quality, respond flexibly to both planned and reactive requirements, and maintain high standards of workmanship in sensitive and demanding environments. The installations provide improved safety, enhanced hygiene, and dependable day-to-day performance—supporting the needs of both the facility and its occupants.
