Quick questions about

Repairs and Maintance

What types of blinds can you repair?

We repair a wide range of blinds, including roller, Venetian, Roman, vertical, and motorised systems. Whether it’s a minor fault or a more complex issue, we’ll assess the best solution to restore your blinds.

How much does a repair visit cost?

If blinds need to be uninstalled and taken away for repair, we charge a £35 call-out fee. Labour is then charged at £35 per hour, plus the cost of any replacement parts required. We’ll always explain the work needed before proceeding.

Do my blinds or curtains need to be cleaned before repair?

Yes—any items brought in for repair should be clean, dry, and in good condition. This means being free from dust, pet hair, strong odours (such as smoke), and any signs of damp or mould. This helps us maintain a clean working environment and protects other customer orders. If items don’t meet these standards, they may need to be returned for cleaning before repairs can begin.

Can all blinds be repaired, or will I need to replace them?

While many faults can be repaired, we often find that older blinds or heavily worn systems can be more costly to fix than replace. If a repair isn’t the most practical or economical option, we’ll let you know—and can advise on suitable replacement options to ensure you get the best long-term value.

Do blinds need to be removed for repair?

In most cases, blinds will need to be removed and returned to our workshop, where we have the tools and space to carry out repairs properly. For simpler issues, repairs can sometimes be completed on-site, but we’ll always advise on the best approach depending on the fault.
